Columbus Zoo Lights

2013 Season!

There are many zoos in the US that offers zoo light nights. However, these are nothing compared to the zoo lights event of Columbus Zoo. Columbus Zoo Widlights event is in existence for more than 20 years now – 24 years to be exact! This Ohio-based zoo claimed that this year’s zoo lights will be the brightest and the jolliest lights display event ever.

Prices and Rates:

Regular rates apply during the Ohio zoo lights nights. The rates are as follows:

Discounts and Coupons:

Group discounts are also offered to the guests provided that the tickets will be purchased in a single transaction. The discount is valid for a group with 15 or more members.

Widlights are free for all members. So, members may enjoy all the hours of staying on the zoo during Wildlights.


Columbus Zoo zoo lights coupons are also offered all-year round. On Tuesdays, the senior citizens will receive half-price admission. On Wednesdays, Franklin County residents will receive the same discount upon presentation of a valid ID. Finally, active and non-active military staffs will receive $2 discount per ticket when they buy up to six admission tickets.

Hours and Dates:

Wildlights hours are from 5 to 9 pm on Sundays to Thursdays and 5 to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Columbus Zoo will be open from November 16 to January 1. However, it will be closed on three dates ,Thanksgiving, December 24th (Christmas Eve) and 25th (Christmas Day).

There must be a reason why Widlights still operating today. What else but, the glittering transformation of the zoo come Holiday season that only Columbus Zoo can do.
