Festival of Lights Cincinnati Zoo 2013
If you thought that you have seen everything that a zoo has to offer, well, think again. It is the Holiday season once again, and Cincinnati Zoo adorns the entire place with hundreds of thousands of lights. Called the Festival of Lights, this Ohio-based zoo is celebrating such for almost 30 years now.
The zoo’s goal is to maximize every guest’s zoo lights experience, a reason why ‘de-light-ful’ tips are offered. The key is to arrive early so that you may enjoy all the ‘high-lights’ that the Cincinnati Zoo offers during zoo lights night.
The general admission rates are:
- $15 for adults (aged 13 to 61)
- $10 for seniors (aged 62+)
- $10 for children (aged 2 to 12)
This Ohio-based zoo also offers packages to the guests. The total experience package, which includes admission to the Festival of Lights, unlimited carousel and train rides and 4D movie experience, has the following rates:
- $25 for adults (aged 13 to 61)
- $21 for seniors (aged 62+)
- $21 for children (aged 2 to 12)
However, if you will purchase the package online, $1 will be deducted per package purchased.
The value package, which includes admission to the Festival of Lights, and 4D movie experience, has the following rates:
- $20 for adults (aged 13 to 61)
- $15 for seniors (aged 62+)
- $15 for children (aged 2 to 12)
Tickets can be also bought online. You just have to print them at home and present the ticket(s) upon entering the premises of the zoo. Tickets are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase so you will have all the chance to visit zoo lights Maryland next year.
Cincinnati Zoo zoo lights coupons are also offered. Military discounts will get $3 discount per adult and $2 for children. The military ID should be shown upon purchasing the tickets.
Half price coupons are also offered when the guests purchase their tickets at the local UDF and use them on specified Festival of Lights nights. This will be on December 3 to 5 and 10 to 12.
Dates and Times:
Zoo lights hours will be from 5 to 9 pm on Sundays through Thursdays and 5 to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Cincinnati Zoo opens from end of Nov. until beginning of January. However, it will be closed on December 25th (Christmas).
