Animals never stopped to amaze us, and now they come alive in all glittering glory – zoo lights! One of the most anticipated special events in Stone Zoo is its ZooLights. There are many other activities that you may enjoy while you are inside Stone Zoo, one of Massachusetts’ prides. Visitors will be greeted with thousands of holiday lights that basically set the festive mood in the place.
Of course, Christmas would not be complete without the glimpse of Santa. You may do so in Santa’s Castle. St. Nicholas will be available for photo until the 23rd of December.
The holiday is traditionally for kids thus the Stone Zoo management devotes three dates for storytime with Mrs. Claus. Storytimes will be conducted between the hours of 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm on dates specified on the official site.
Cost and Coupons
The admission rate is fixed at $7 per person. However, the management offers Stone Zoo lights coupons and discounts for members. Stone Zoo members will only have to pay:
- $6 for regular days
- $4 on Mondays
The membership card, along with the ticket, must be presented upon entering the zoo.
Zoo lights tickets can be also bought online. What better way to skip the long queues but by buying your tickets online. You will receive a confirmation email after purchasing the tickets. Print it out and bring it with you when you hit this Massachusetts zoo.
Times and Dates
Daily times are from 5 to 9 pm. It will be open throughout the week until December 31st. However, it will be closed on December 25th (Christmas).
Stone Zoo should be in your itinerary. It is not every day that you get up close and personal with flashing animals. Bring your kids with you, and watch how amuse they will get with lights blinking all over the place.
