The Jacksonville Zoo was established in May 1914 with the red deer fawn exhibit. Since that time, the zoo has increased its exhibits. It features the Stingray Bay; Wild Florida; African Loop; River Valley Aviary; Great Apes; Savanna Blossoms; and Range of the Jaguar. As an accredited Institution of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association, it houses more than 2,000 exotic animals. Go on behind the scenes tours with expert zookeepers to the Wild Florida Tour; Africa Plains Tour; or the Range of the Jaguar & Emerald Forest Aviary. Stroll through the gardens or take the kids on a ride on the Wildlife Carousel.

If you’re an active member of the military or AAA, you’ll receive a 10% Jacksonville Zoo Coupon discount. To receive this discount, you must present your military ID or AAA membership card.
Groups: You’ll receive a group rate for a party of 15 or more people. You must make a reservation and payment two weeks before your visit to receive the group rate discount.
Membership: The Jacksonville Zoo membership levels feature individual, couple, friend, one adult family, family, one adult family plus one, family plus one, family plus two, and nanny. You can also become a member of the Director’s Circle at the sponsor, patron, or Heart of the Zoo Society level.
