You do not always have to pay full price at the Toronto Zoo. There are discounts, coupons and promotions you can take advantage of to save a few bucks.

Save 39% with CityPASS: If you plan on visiting other attractions in Toronto you can save big at the Zoo with the Toronto CityPASS. The savings are awesome. Check it out.

Membership: Zoo members get discounts on admission and at the zoo gift shop. There are often times promotions for zoo members to get special benefits, special access and save money.

Membership packages include occasional coupons for free parking and discounts at the concession stands.

Groups: If you plan on visiting the zoo with groups of 20 or more you can get a 15% discount on zoo admission. Be sure to call ahead, they need notice for group zoo discounts.

Students: Students can get huge savings on zoo membership by showing their student ID. Get $25 off a year membership and $40 off a two year membership.

CAZA Member: Being a member of another CAZA zoo / aquarium will get you 50% off the ticket price at the zoo. Remember there are zoos all over North America that offer this discount as well.

Mini Cards When your traveling around Toronto in tourist areas or in your hotel be sure to look through the mini card kiosks. There are often times coupons and discounts on zoo admission prices or for the gift shop.

Online Ticket Purchases: Buying your zoo ticket online will get you a 10% discount to the gift shop inside the zoo.

Public Transportation: Show your Metro ticket at the front gate of the zoo and you will get 15% off admission tickets for you and up to 3 other people.

Air Miles: Most Canadian airline companies allow you to use air miles to purchase zoo tickets. Be sure the cost of such tickets is not higher than the use of those miles elsewhere, but most the time it will save you some money.

Seniors: Senior citizens get $6 off the price of normal tickets.

There are plenty of great options for hotels around the Toronto Zoo. If you need to book a hotel you can check out one of many travel sites like Travelocity.

Did you know that there are also campgrounds near the zoo? If you love to camp you can do that. There is no need to book an expensive hotel, just get a camp ground, pitch a tent and enjoy the outdoors… just like the animals.

The 2 closest camp grounds are Cedar Beach Park and Glen Rouge Park.

Directions: If you are traveling in a vehicle take HWY 401 East or West to Meadowvale Rd. in Toronto (Exit 389). After this you will head north on Meadowvale Rd. There will be signs for the zoo. Follow the signs to the zoo entrance.

The Toronto Zoo is one of the most wonderful places to visit if you are traveling to or around Toronto. This zoo is one of Canada’s best zoos and has something for every person young and old to see.

With more than 5,000 animals from over 500 species there is definitely something there that will wow you. Bring your walking shoes because there are over 6 miles of trails you can walk through to see these 5,000 animals in their own habitats. The zoo is divided into 7 sections: Indo-Malaya, Africa, the Americas, Australasia, Eurasia, Canadian Domain and the Tundra Trek.

There is more than just the animals for visitors to enjoy as well. Visit the zoo shop and even ride one of the 4 rides the Toronto Zoo Has.

Whether you live in Toronto or are just planning on visiting there are tons of other incredible things you can see besides the zoo.
