The US News & World Report ranked Calgary Zoo as number five on the list of things to do in the Calgary area. The zoo, which started off with two mule deer, has since expanded it animal population to more than 1,000. Some of its exhibits include Eurasia; Australia; Africa; Prehistoric Park and South America; and Canadian Wilds.
